My Hobby

 Everyone of us should have a hobby. Then  only we can spend our leisure in a useful manner.

                                                My hobby is gardening. It is an interesting hobby. It has many advantages. It have planted various kinds of fruits and vegetables in my graden. Some of the fruits are guava , pineapple , pomegranate , woodapple , orange and mango. Some of the vegetables are brinjai l, chillies,  beans, long beans, tomato, ladie’s fingers and wing beans.

                                                            I spend about one thurs in my grarden every morning. I pull out weeds. I water and manure the vegetable beds. I use compost manure. I don’t use artificial manure. It is a nicesight to see fruit trees laden with fruits. Birds and butterflies come to my garden. They make my garden beautiful.

 

                                                            My father, Mother too help me in my hobby. We can eat fresh fruits and vegetables because of my hobby. Also I can earn some money by selling them.

A Life of farmer

 The farmer is a poor man. But he is a very clever man. He wakes up early in the morning. After he washed his face, he goes to paddy field with his mammoty he works very hard he has no break. But he had a short  interval for his lunch he comes home very late.

 

                                                The farmer grows paddy, plants and vegetables. We eat rice, fruits and vegetable. So our hunger is overcome. The farmer lives in a small cottage his helpers are etti kukula and frog. They destroy the insects. He is a happy man and strong man.

                                   

We call the farmer is a King when he washes his mud.

 A man of exceptional achievement Did you know that sigiriya has deen declared a world heri tare ancl the 8thwonder of the world?     But for Prof .  Senarath Paranavithane, born over 100 years ago in a little known village called  Maetaramba in the Galle District we would not have still discovered the importance of  sigiriya fully. Prof. Senarath Paranavithane escaped belonging to the monolingual exclusive class, and became a true bilingual because he got a solid foundation in the oriental languages. This incul cated in him a love for country, an interest in ist hiory, and a disoipline which stood him in good stead wnen ne emda rked upon his career us a rchaelogical commissioner.

The prince of saliya had a  have  afair  with asokamala.  but asokamala  was  belong  to a lowcast  family.  Theretore  the  parents  of  prince  saliya  were  not  gowe.  pernmision to married and left the  perant  and came to mount of galgiriyawa.  The  lived in a cave on the mount. At the mavment there are  sevaral garden  flowers  and fruits.  people belive  that is the place they  lived  and also there are some runis  of castle.  Now  this mauntain is very  famow  place  in  sri  lanka.     As  well  as  sri  lankan  forigners  also  come  to  visit  this  place.

                   In a broad sen technology is “Man ‘s ability to control nature” Some specifie areas are”Construction tech noloyy” , “Computer technology” and “Medical technology” Technology develops and changes over time and is constantly replaced with new moclels. Students should have a good knowledge of ftechnology to keep pace with the changing times. So it is necessary to improve Engilsh and read more and more on technology and be ready to face the chllenges of the glodal village in the future

Hence she is able to manage her water reso urces and minimize environmental hazards. If weare to preserve the naturat beauty of Sri Lanka we have to manage our water re sources well. Sri Lanka is culled, decause of her  shape  and natural beauty.  There are two aspects to water management firstly to allocate water to the environmental demand s , secondly to supply the human reguireme nt of water of r agrcultre , in dustry , power generation.

    My ambition is to be a computer  teacher. It is the noblest profession in the world.  The teacher does a great service to the society. He produces well disciplined and usefull citizens. People whochoose teaching as profession are fortunate because they can serve the country and also earn a living at the same time. The future of the younger generation depends on the education they raceive. The teacher guides them in the correct path.                                               The therer is respected by everyone. He leads an exemplary life. Because of these reasons I like to be a teacher.

He brought her to his palace in lanka in a fling chariot shaped like a pcacock.Rama searchere for where for his wife  his brother Lakshman  and Hanuma the monky  King At last Hanuma found sita at Ravana’ s plasce in Lankas.Me went back to give the news to Rama But befpre  going back  he set fire to many towns and villages in Ravana’s kingdom

His grea pest contribution was the introduction of free education to all in our country. The establis henat of central schools was a great achievement in provding high qual education free to the talented children of the masses. Dr. .Kannangara  said “lsay it’ s’the pearl of great price ’sell anll theat you hava and buy it for the benefit of the whole country. We shallbe able to say that we found educoti on the datri mony of the riche and leftn it the inheriance  of the toor.” Referring  to the cultural heriteage of  the fast, he said,” the education that prevailed in this country for about 2000 years was absolutely free.”   His reforms provide education free fom the kinderyarten to the university in the ancient traditi on of a liberal education. He was deeply committed to the cause of servihg the country andits people.

The Village Fair

KasunEvery Monday there is a fair in our village. Villagers go there to buy their needs and to sell their produces.There are nearly two hundred vended vendors in the fair. They sell foodstuffs, clothes and other goods. Most of the vendors sell their goods inside stalls while the others sell their goods keeping in the open space.Villagers like to go to the fair as they can buy their needs at a reasonable price. This fair is maintained by the Pradeshiya Sabha. The fair has become averypopular place among the villages.
